Tudor Grange Teaching School Hub

Tudor Grange Teaching School Hub is characterised by an unwavering dedication to improving the outcomes and life chances for all the young people that we have the privilege to serve. Our Hub intends to unify and mobilise all of the excellent existing practise and talented professionals the WM4 region to achieving our goal of opportunity and ongoing excellence for every student within our community. We serve a varied region, covering Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove, and Stratford, we are excited to partner with schools across this region, Studley High School, St. Augustine’s Catholic High School, Welford-On-Avon Primary School, Alderbrook School, Arden Academy, and Tudor Grange Academy Solihull. Partners have been carefully selected for the high levels of school to school improvement impact they have already demonstrated regionally.

We have invested much time and energy into selecting Lead Providers that we believe will best service the needs of the WM4 region, we are excited about working with our Lead Provider for ECF – the Education Development Trust, and our Lead Provider for NPQs – the Teacher Development Trust. The DfE approved resources that have been developed are fantastic and the programme of learning available is evidence based, impact focused, and forward facing. Strong, moral imperative matched partnerships are our real strength, we have partnerships with key stakeholders, such as Curriculum Hubs, Research Schools, Science Learning Partnerships and EdTech Demonstrator schools. We are all committed to collaboration and not competition.

We will collaborate to provide evidence-based, robust, local need driven CPD, which will be designed and implemented in partnership with our partners and serviced schools. The Golden Threads will be clearly apparent across everything we roll out and it is our ambition that all schools are informed and aware of all DfE backed incentives and programmes. We strive to achieve a strong ITE curricula that ensures the best people are coming into the profession and their training mirrors the locality of where they will go on to teach.

Team

Our approach is that of teamwork and collaboration, capitalising on the excellent existing practise and further developing colleagues in our region to improve outcomes for young people.

Understanding

Being aware of local need is pivotal, through working with partners we have established a deep understanding of what our schools need and encourage open communication to deepen this understanding further.

Dynamic

WM4 is comprised of diverse schools with unique needs, we will be dynamic in our approach to ensure the nuanced context of each WM4 school is considered and schools get the “best deal” for their requirements.

Outward Facing

We want to learn from sector experts, all provision offered will be outward facing.

Rigorous

We underwent a rigorous selection process to finalise our Lead Providers for ECF and NPQs, this same level of rigor will extend into AB work undertaken, CPD delivered, and ITT provision.
