Cheshire Teaching School Hub

The Cheshire Teaching School Hub is a partnership high quality alliance across Cheshire, two Local Authorities, curriculum hubs and the Research School. The work of the Hub is about ensuring that the capacity and expertise we have across all our primary and secondary schools and partnerships are used effectively to ensure that all pupils thrive, and schools prosper. As a Teaching School Hub, we are a school-led centre of excellence for teacher and leadership training and development across Cheshire. The Teaching School Hub will provide high-quality professional development to teachers at all stages of their careers across Cheshire East and West and Chester.

We will play a significant role in delivering School-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and the Early Career Framework (EFC) as well as, the new specialist National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) including, Leadership NPQs, appropriate Body services for early career teachers and other high-quality evidence-based professional development to school leaders and teachers.
